O’hare International Airport
Posted in Airports on February 3rd, 2008 by: LisaI actually wrote this on Wednesday morning, but I haven’t had a chance to publish it till now.
It has been a long time since I have flown from O’hare. I think the last time is when Bill and I went to Jamaica for our honeymoon. Honestly, I do not remember much of the airport. However, this morning I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was extremely helpful (including security!). I forgot to put my eye drops (for my contacts in a plastic baggy) and I thought for sure that they would take them and dump them. I talked to the security guy, and it wasn’t a problem. I am also wearing my pedometer. I wasn’t sure if that was going to be an issue. I learned as long as you put it in the grey bin, you do not have any problems. My only complaint so far was that it seemed like they were cleaning all of the women’s bathrooms at the same time. I had to go past three before I could actually go into one to use it. I am currently sitting and waiting for the flight attendants to get here so we can board the plane. The plane is here, the passengers are all here, the pilots are even here! We are just waiting on the flight attendants. Think we can leave without them? I cannot fault O’hare, because they aren’t here yet. In general, there were a ton of restaurants to eat at, and the whole place was very clean. As I said before, everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. I just wish we could get on the plane!!!
